What to do if a watch is not working properly:

Batteries are installed in quartz models when the watch is made. This battery will have a shorter life than a fresh battery, so the watch may quit functioning. Always be sure to check and change the battery first (quartz models).

Watches carry their own manufacturer's warranties and must be sent to the proper service center for repair by following the instructions in the warranty information. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs for warranty repairs. We do not operate a watch repair facility and do not perform warranty service on any manufacturer's behalf.

NOTE: It is not a defect if the battery has run down on a quartz watch or if the second hand is not perfectly aligned with the second marks. Manufacturers will often times make production changes to case designs, dial and/or hand styles. Also, pocket watches may not open to a full 90% or may have slight abrasion marks where the cover closes on the body of the watch or where the chain is placed over the bow. The typical accuracy for a mechanical pocket watch will be +/- 60 seconds/24hr. A mechanical pocket watch should be wound daily and the time re-set. If only wound, the time can be off by several minutes within a few days. These conditions are not considered factory defects or valid reasons for a return. Defective watches that have been worn or used can only be factory repaired in accord with the manufacturer's warranty policy.

Accessories carry a 90 day replacement guarantee unless otherwise specified.
