Mechanical Pocket Watches:

To wind the watch turn the crown in the clockwise direction 30-60 half turns (DO NOT OVER WIND). Pull the crown out to set the time, then push the crown back down into the normal operating position.

Mechanical pocket watches typically have an accuracy of +/- 60 seconds within a 24 hour period, so the watch should be fully wound and the time reset daily. If the watch is wound only, the time could be off by several minutes within a few days.

This Watch is guaranteed for a period of TWELVE (12) months from the date of purchase against any defect in material or manufacture. It has been carefully tested before leaving the factory and with proper use, will give lasting satisfaction.

Warning- This Guarantee is void if the watch has been tampered with, or damaged through mishandling or neglect. Repairs will, however, be carried out at the lowest possible charge. If new batteries are found to be necessary, these will be fitted and charged to you.

Should the watch need attention (service), send the watch with this Guarantee and a remittance of 6.00 GBP (approximately $12.00 US) to cover packing, postage, insurance and VAT to:
