Quartz Battery Operated Pocket Watches:

Basic quartz pocket watches operate just like standard quartz wrist watches. To set the date (if this is a feature on the watch), pull the crown out to the first detent. To set the time, pull the crown all the way out (or second detent). Push the crown all the way back in to start the movement and begin normal time keeping.

Battery change is through the pop-off back cover.

This watch has been fully tested and found to meet our rigid inspection standards. It is guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of TWO YEARS from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover the replacement or repair of cases, watch bracelets, straps, or crystals. This LIMITED WARRANTY is automatically void if the watch has been found to be subject to abuse, neglect, or tampering.

To obtain service under warranty:

• Pack the watch in a shock absorbent package.

• Do not return gift box with watch as we cannot ensure its return to you.

• Include a short note stating the nature of the problem. Please indicate the Style No. and Control No. found in the warranty booklet. Also include your daytime phone number.

• Enclose a copy of your store invoice showing the date of purchase.

• Include a check or money order in the amount of $15.00 payable to L&M to cover the cost of return shipping, insurance, and handling via UPS. The $15.00 charge does not include the cost of parts not covered by the warranty. You will be billed separately for these charges.
